This is a selection of practice Macro shots of bugs and insects, these were taken using the Canon MP-E65mm Lens (A dedicated macro lens capable of 1-5x Life) and the new Canon 5D MKII Digital SLR, in some cases where there was low lighting levels a 580EX Flash was also used.
